While there are still many unknowns with respect to youth sports in Ontario, we are very pleased to announce that we are planning to move forward with a House League season for boys and girls starting July 5. 

Current regulations from the province only cover Step 1, which allows for two completely separate groups of 10 people to use a field with no games or scrimmages. Practices for team sports must be training only (i.e., skills & drills).

Step 2 regulations are unknown at this time, but we are cautiously optimistic that game play will be allowed with some restrictions. Step 2 could start as soon as July 2, however that is not confirmed. 

SEASON PLAN

July 5-9 - Practice Week for Jr. T-Ball - 16U

• Two teams (up to 12 players & 2-3 coaches) will share a field to train with skills & drills

• Each team will have time on the infield and the outfield

• Specific times and number of people will depend on whether we are in Step 1 or Step 2. If we need to schedule two sessions per night, the early session may need to start as early as 5:45pm

July 12-16 – Regular Season* starts for all divisions

• BlastBall will be 8 weeks ending August 30

• Jr. T-Ball – 16U will be 10 weeks ending September 13-17

• 18U will be at least 8 weeks with South Simcoe Minor Baseball Association (details are still being confirmed)

*If games are not allowed in Step 2, team training will continue until provincial regulations allow game play to begin.
